The message behind the name Q5

As a kid I dreamed about being in a Bond movie. But unlike most kids, I never wanted to be James Bond. I wanted to be Q, the head of the MI-6 R&D Division. Q got to develop all of the cool, differentiating and unique tools and gadgets that made James Bond win every time. Now I am fortunate enough to be able to be Q and help my “James Bond”s (aka clients), achieve things they would not otherwise be able to achieve in their businesses by creating powerful, clever and differentiating analytical and data driven tools.

The number 5 has been a recurring theme in my life. I was the 5th of my mother’s children. It is defined as the number of balance in some disciplines and represents change in others.

Together Q5 defines an organization that brings balance to their engagements to help change their client’s business with unique and differentiating analytical and data driven tools so that you can win every time.

 

About Our CEO

Maria Marsala Herlihy, CEO and Founder of Q5. Prior to founding Q5, Herlihy served as VP of Strategic Analytics at Humana, CAO and SVP of Analytical Strategy at KnowledgeBase Marketing (A Wunderman/Young & Rubicam/WPP company), and VP of Advanced Analytics and Database Marketing at the Home Shopping Network. Herlihy earned a BS in Applied Math & Statistics from SUNY Stony Brook College of Engineering, and an MS in Statistics and Operational Research from NYU – Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
